I'm just stopping in for a quick minute to share a dress that I recently tested. It made a sneak appearance in this post. It was the week after I released the Blue Ridge Dress and I felt like I hadn't sewn in months since I'd been at the computer SO MUCH. Celina from Petit a Petit and Family made a tester call for a new pattern, and right then and there I fell in love with the sleeves. Truth be told, I usually opt for more fitted patterns, but like I said THE SLEEVES! Divine. So I tested, and she was lovely to work with as always.
As you can see the sleeves have a lovely drape. I tested version C, which has a center panel with piping, welt pockets, double sleeve, elastic neck, and a hem facing. The pattern is chock full of options- pocket options, neck options, hem options, sleeve options and length options. It's an endless fount of combinations!
The dress is so so easy to wear- the elastic neck means I can pull it on and off with ease, and it is PERFECT for twirling.
